In 2001, Stocznia Północna SA (Northern Shipyard) in Gdańsk built one of the most modern harbour tugs in Poland with azimuth propulsion type TRACTOR B830 “TAURUS”. The vessel was destined for Port Maritime Services ‘WUŻ’ Ltd in Gdańsk – the direct successor of many-year-long tradition of Maritime Navigation Division. Thus, WUŻ Gdańsk is now the owner of the most modern tug boats in Poland setting a new direction in the development of tug-towing stock.
