Sea Victor belongs to the large oceanic offshore AHTS tugs, the construction of which started in 2005 in "Północna" shipyard, commissioned by Gdańska Stocznia Remontowa SA. It has a length of 70 m and a width of 15,5 m. The main propulsion of the ship are two Caterpillar engines with a capacity of 3.8 thousand kW. The ship's bollard pull is 120 tons, which determines its capabilities in towing. AHTS tugs are designed for towing and anchoring offshore platforms and other offshore facilities. They also provide equipment, fuel, water and bulk materials for oil platforms, and can carry out firefightings and rescue operations.
