More info

They are one of the most innovative ferries in the world in this class, entirely designed by the Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting office and built with a large participation of companies from the Remontowa Holding group.

These are the first LNG-powered ferries in the BC Ferries fleet and one of the first of their kind in North America. Such a solution generates a huge benefit for the environment (it reduces the emission of carbon dioxide by approx. 25%, sulfur oxides by almost 100% and nitrogen oxides by approx. 85% compared to conventional propulsion based on marine fuel).
